Help with my post-lockdown hair please :)

I've got my first post-lockdown visit to die hairdressers this week, and I'm feeling the need for something a bit more daring.

My hair's naturally dark brown and so the blonde does lighten my face a bit, but I think it's looking a bit meh and sludgy; what do you all think?

I'm happy to lose a good few inches (I've had it short before so don't mind it being shorter than it is now) but it's more the colour I feel needs a good kick up the bum!

Anyone have any ideas, suggestions, opinions? Thank you!

If you get a second round of highlights/balayage, the light bits will probably go blonde and give you the refresh you’re after.

I think going back to your natural colour would look nice too; might make your hair look healthy & glossy, more striking too? Your hair looks a bit fine, so going back to your natural colour could prevent bleach damage and in time, look thicker.

If you get a lot of length cut off, the look of your colour would change as the majority of your ends are light. This might mean that your end colour (if you get highlights again) may not come out as expected.

I think it’s a question of whether you want a brunette bob or a balayage bob.

Yes, I do think less blonde would help give a stronger look. Maybe something like this is what I should go for, but much much less blonde and have darker sections through it.

Ah I can’t see the new pics but I have an idea of what you want

I think your current light areas look a bit ginger/warm rather than blonde. A fresh toner and possibly more bleach would make it a more lighter/creamy blonde so overall would look nicer/more flattering

Yes I think you're right, it does feel a bit warm, something with a bit more ice in it would definitely feel fresher.
