Do we like this dress?

Hi! Making this thread as I like this dress & have bought it but would love some honest opinions on 1) if this dress is nice
2) if this dress looks nice on me/my body shape.

It’s for a small wedding reception, I was thinking strappy heels and hair either in a bun or to one side (like vintage curls).

It’s a bit bridesmaidy but otherwise nice from what I can see.
It would look better when you’re all glammed up I’m sure.

Yes! I thought it might be too bridesmaid- y but it’s my brother in law who’s getting married and It’s an Indian wedding (bride is wearing a white dress though) and people in attendance will be very glammed up - so don’t want to be under dressed!

Love the style of the dress, and it suits you, but not a great colour. It might just be rubbish changing room lighting though!

I wouldnt wear it to a religious, Catholic wedding in a church, but sounds perfect for the wedding your are attending. I cant tell the colour though? Dark salmon? What colour accessories are you going for? I'd take a cardigan/pashmina too incase you get chilly. Where is it from?

Like it. I have a dress that colour and it looks great with old gold but also navy or teal accessories

You look a bit kinda wrapped up, not sure , might be too big.

To answer a few questions:

The colour is hard to describe but I would say pink. Ted baker have described it as ‘mid pink’

Hair colour is dark brown.

I have no idea what accessories I’ll be pairing it with yet. Thanks @Palavah I’ll try it with good or real accessories. @Elouera Good call on the pashmina /cover. I wouldn’t have thought of it until closer to the time! I will have to make sure I buy something to go over it soon.

Thank you for all the comments! Looks like majority like it but I get some of the concerns with the dress since I have them too, like it’s a little loose at the front but I can’t get a size down otherwise it’ll be too tight in the bum area. I have a big bum

And @Jessbow I have thought that too, that I may look a little too wrapped up. I will try it on again in a few weeks - And might get a back up dress just in case!

Definitely looks good on you. Was going to ask hair colour as it wouldn’t suit a blonde! Dark brown hair will work well though.

I don't dislike it, but the material and drape is very similar to my dressing gown. A very nice dressing gown, but nonetheless.

I think it's beautiful! And the colour is beautiful! All round beautiful!

It’s okay, but that’s about it, it’s not anything amazing. I don’t like the one shoulder design, I never like that style.
