Help me find a dress for a wedding please

I will be mum of the bride next August and very excited already!
I'm 5' 7" and chubby -18/20 top and 16 bottom.
As I can't wear heels (bad back) I think full length will be better with flat shoes.
Grooms mum is wearing a red outfit, bridesmaids in plain navy.
Clearly I don't want to look as if I'm trying to be a bridesmaid!
Just now I've ordered one to try on which will give you an idea of the kind of thing I like.

Have a look at t John Lewis an type in "mother of the bride" in the search bar and that comes up with some inspiration for you and a few similar . Filter to size 18/20. Love the Gina baconi wrap dress in sand.

I can't wear heels either but for me I think a longer style need heels rather than the other way round? So I would go midi (cover my knees!) What about a hat, bag and jacket and shoes?
