Gold earrings style question

It's my birthday soon, I have a pair each of classic diamond and pearl studs - and my DM said maybe I'd like some gold earrings.

Have got earrings with a mix of gold and silver which are nice?

Only problem is where, how much etc? Ideas? I have no idea re budget but DM has had a windfall and wants to treat her DC. I have no idea re weight of gold but prefer normal gold colour - not rose or old gold etc.

Could you not ask her what the budget is? Is it a significant birthday like a 21st, 30th, 40th etc?

Why dont you have a look online as styles and see what you like? Hoops, studs, dangly etc etc.

Elouera - she says budget is anything up to £2,000 if I like which personally I think is way too much - my diamond studs and pearl studs certainly weren't that expensive!

It's not a significant birthday yet but will be next year. I tend to prefer studs and dangly etc - but I'd like something I'll wear a lot. the pearl and diamond studs I wear a fair bit but get bored with them.

For that price, you could get a set with a matching pendant. Could you take half or 3/4 in cash instead? I always go to independant jewellers, but you could look online for inspiration.

That's true.

My DM quite likes the idea of Tiffany earrings but I'm not keen on the name as had jewellery from there in the past.

Any ideas for online jewellery brands?

Catherine Zoraida has some lovely ear-rings. I've got a few pairs and wear them all the time. I've also a few pairs from Monica vinader which I love as well but Catherine Zoraida's are my favourites. Are you looking at precious stones set in gold, if spending up to 2k? For anything like that I usually look at reputable independent jewellers or antique pieces.
