new stan smiths box fresh white or other colour trim?

So after a few years my Stan Smiths have finally bit the dust and are falling apart as well as filthy.

I want to get a new pair - but should I go more trendy and get Veja, or should I veer from my old pure box fresh white Stan's and get a green or navy trim?

I have the green and navy trim Stan Smiths and have ordered silver trim. I love them and the newer ones are much more comfortable. My green ones are a few years old.

I have blue trim and plain white Stan Smiths. Bloody love them.

I'd love a pair of these.

For those who already have them, are they wide or narrow fitting? I need narrow trainers and so many of these styles are really wide around the toes...

I have an old pair of Stan Smiths, which have served me well.

I bought a pair of Veja Campo's with yellow trim at the start of lockdown They are very comfortable and need wearing in like my old Stan Smiths.
The yellow bit surprisingly goes with everything.

DIDN'T need wearing in like my Stan Smiths did!

my feet which are fairly wide fit fine in them.

Also I bought size 4.5 which are way too big - a size 4 would be better. Leather stretches too remember.

My white ones I recall were lovely when box fresh but they were very white!

I'm being slightly naughty getting with Klarna rather than buying all in one go. Got a few extra bills this month so would rather save

I have two pairs - pink trim and silver trim

I am a size five but can get the junior, so half the price.

I veer between Stan's and Gazelle

I have blue & green trim and now off to google silver trim!

Stans are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own & have found need no wearing in. As soon as a pair falls apart, I repurchase.

An added bonus is they wash really well in the washing machine too!

Stan Smiths all the way. I have the red trim. Love, love, love them!

I have both Stan Smiths (fluoro orange trim) and Veja campos (off white trim) Love both but they serve different purposes.

I would say both are relatively wide, as my feet are and they were comfy. Neither needed broken in (just wear ankle socks that cover your ankle bone at first)

If you walk a lot, I'd say the Stan Smiths offer more arch support, the Vejas feel flatter.

Stan Smiths will always be available, so maybe try the Vejas for a change?
