Just lately during lock down I have been having a closer look at myself. I seem to have grown skin tags in my arm pits and they are very unattractive.
Also I have them under my bust just where the wires on my bra sits. Is it just me or does anyone else have them.
I bought a skin tag remover from Amazon and have been trying to burn them off but its not working. Does anyone have any tips for removal. Thank you

Same! I'm heavily pregnant and with all this hot weather I'm sure I've developed about 10 new Little's ones under my boobs and they feel horrible! No idea how to get rid, a while back I looked into it and all the shrinking creams seemed to only be available in USA

Did you know that they are a sign of insulin resistance? I didn’t know this, I thought they were just an age thing but no.

I pulled mine off with tweezers.

Dh bought a kit off amazon to starve the blood to them.

Wildwood6 · 21/08/2020 13:39

You can tie a piece of string around the bottom of them to cut off the blood flow (if you can reach, which I appreciate might be tricky in your arm pit!) You then cover with a plaster, leave a few days and they will fall off. I was always too squeamish to cut them off!

flossiegrippiter · 21/08/2020 14:04

@justanotherneighinparadise I've developed gestational diabetes in this pregnancy so that makes sense!

Bouledeneige · 21/08/2020 14:04

I've read about using vinegar on them but the thread sounds sensible. My DD and I both have them in our armpits.

tiredanddangerous · 21/08/2020 14:07

I've got quite a few (including one really big one!) where my bra sits. Watching with interest!

EnoughAlready2020 · 21/08/2020 14:09

I used a piece of thread for the one underneath my armpit and side of next. I just wrapped around and pulled. Easy and not painful!

woodhill · 21/08/2020 14:11

Yes I have them, worse as I have got older

Dinosauratemydaffodils · 21/08/2020 14:13

I got one in my armpit during my first pregnancy. Dh cut it off with really sharp scissors. It bled a tiny amount and then healed up.

chipsandgin · 21/08/2020 14:16

I had them removed at a medi-beautician type place (they do beauty therapy but have nurses who do Botox etc). It cost about £100 & was painless & quick. It was really worth it, I’d started not wearing sleeveless tops etc and they really bothered me, I would recommend it!

chipsandgin · 21/08/2020 14:17

(I think it was laser removal!?)

chipsandgin · 21/08/2020 14:19

(Or dermapen - can’t remember!)

MsWonderful · 21/08/2020 14:23

I cut mine off with surgical scissors I ordered from Amazon. Very easy quick and almost painless. Might be difficult to access if it’s in your armpit though

yawnsvillex · 21/08/2020 14:36

Had mine off using cryotherapy - blistered and gone, no scar.

NotMyCircusNotMyProblem · 21/08/2020 14:42

I had one on my neck. I dabbed it twice a day with cotton wool soaked in tea tree oil. It dried the tag out and after about a week, it just fell off. No discomfort as long as you don't mind walking round smelling of tea tree oil 😂

justanotherneighinparadise · 21/08/2020 14:43

I’ve just been looking up devices on amazon and I’ve stuck one in my basket for £25. The reviews are excellent. Just look up cryopens.

I have cherry angiomas, skin tags and those ugly flat moles. If one of those pens get rid of them I d be saving a shed load of money. I’m excited!!

DramaAlpaca · 21/08/2020 14:47

I've got them too. Place marking here for solutions.

user1471523870 · 21/08/2020 14:53

I had a couple of super tiny ones removed at a beauty salon (nationwide, big chain). It was done by laser at the same time they removed my milia.
Can't remember the cost but not expensive, I think in the range of £50 or even less.

Othering · 21/08/2020 14:54

Little kit you buy off eBay that pings a tiny elastic band on to them. Easy, painless, cheap and works every time.

JoandLily · 21/08/2020 14:57

Ive had loads over the years and can definitely recommended this from eBay, easy to use and they just fall off after a week or so.
