Can anyone recommend either a loose or fixed powder that works really well for oily/shine prone skin? Thanks!

Either Laura Mercier loose powder, or Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Finish compact x

I like the Estée Lauder one but in a desperate situation the other day bought a Rimmel one from the supermarket and have been pleasantly surprised!

Don't like the Revlon one, or most others that I've tried. So many go all cakey on my face, drives me mad!

Laura Mercier loose setting powder

I bought the Laura mercies glow one after reading good reviews however I’m not a loader person and not really loving it. It’s. it the powder it’s just me.
It’s a very fine powder and mattifies my skin leaving a slight glow, but I prefer a dewy finish so I can’t see me using it a lot.

The Revolution loose powders you can get in Superdrug are pretty good

Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder is my go-to

Are any of these dewy instead of powdery?

I find powders hide my large pores around the nose better than liquid foundation but dont like the powdery look.

IT cosmetics ByeBye Pores loose powder is amazing, also Revolution Pro Hydra matte loose powder

TheIblisHasspoken · 21/08/2020 14:24

Another one for Laura Mercier here, same issue with my skin and it's the best one I've found, also last for ages because you really don't need that much!

Chanel universelle libre

Blueskysunsout · 21/08/2020 14:59

I’ve just used my Laura mercies powder again this morning. I used very little and just a light dusting and I’m starting to love it. Ignore my words above I’ve not used powder for years.

YourObedientServant · 21/08/2020 16:45

Think I might need to try the Laura Mercier powder! I used the foundation years ago and it seemed to make me break out but I'll give it another go.

Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder is my go-to
I came to add this too. I've used the compact and the loose version.

I'm also a fan of MAC's Blot Powder, excellent at getting rid of shine.
