How do you do this to stop it stinging your eye?

Make sure it’s not too wet. I use Strictly Professional which us a mix of colour and developer, and it needs to be a thin paste rather than a liquid, if that makes sense - if it’s too wet it will drip, which is why it stings.

If you are doing the roots of the lower lashes and any gets into your.lower eyelid waterline, immediately remove it with a cotton bud, because as soon as your eye starts to water it is game over!

I use appraise eyelash and eyebrow tint, it works very quickly only a couple of minutes so you don't need to keep it on on your eyes very long. I apply with a dry mascara brush, then use a cotton pad to remove and wipe upwards instead of down as I found it always somehow made it into my eyes if I wipe down.
