Best Cheapish straighteners?

Noneformethanks · 20/08/2020 08:00

Dd going to uni and has thick hair. She will take my ghds.

I need straighteners for me I have fine hair. I’m skint-ish. And would rather not have to pay £100+ for straighteners.

Are any of the cheaper ones any good?

Kipozi wide plates are great. Better than my ghds were.

I have Babyliss diamond straighteners and they are fab. around £50 at most xx

I have these Diva ones from Sally's trade shop, they're brilliant, I find them far better than my ghds. They are wide plated but I still can do big loose waves with them too. I have fine hair but loads of it and they work really well for me. www.salon-services.com/barbering/hair-electricals/hair-straighteners-and-stylers/diva-pro-styling-wide-digital-hair-styler/544530.html?cgid=barbering-supplies-hair-electricals-hair-straighteners-stylers#start=1

Another vote for Kipozi, mine are just as good as my previous GHDs

Following as mine are ready to die (I have had them for about 20 years though.. )

My ghds are 15 years old. They’re been great.

Another vote for Kipozis.
Always thought ghds were a different league to other straighteners and that nothing would match my 13yr old ones after they finally went but they are honestly just as good if not better, and so cheap!

I switched from a straightener to a hot brush several years ago. Absolutely love it.

I got the kipozi wide plate ones when my ghds died and I couldn't afford to replace them. Really pleased with the kipozi ones
