How many pairs of boots do you own? And what are they like.

I'm just looking for new boots for autumn. Thinking of getting some flat black boots and some small heeled ankle boots also in black.
I currently have black leather riding boots, black suede knee rocket dog, flat laced brown boots and brown slouch boots.
And that's it.

Oh shit, there’s my wellies and my paddock boots for dog walking too.

Sorry to derail the thread but, where on earth do you keep 20+ pairs of boots? Do you have some kind of shoe annexe?

Has anyone seen some beige or grieve suede long boots - flat or small cube heel that will accommodate a wider calf?

This is a bad thread! A conservative estimate would be somewhere between 30-40 pairs.... it would appear I have a bit of a problem!

I also have a pair of leopard sock boots. And an identical pair of leopard sock boots as back-up. even considered a second back-up They are gorgeous and they are soooo comfy - I can wear them all day at work and I don't feel like my feet are dropping off.

Black leather shiny ankle boots with a zip tag ring things that jingle when I walk. The students I worked with liked them as it meant I didn't suddenly pop up and make them jump! They could hear me approaching.

Ankle wellies for dog-walking.

Black leather zip up knee lengths I've not worn yet.

Black-clumpy ankle Caterpillar boots that I pop a rib pulling on but I love them!

Some dead comfy Shared Earth zip up and bit of fur green suedy jobs.

Wellie bobs for snow.

Jodpur boots (real riding ones I'm hanging on to in case I ride again)

Much prefer boots to shoes.

Holy shit, some of you have a lot of boots!
I have 4 that I wear on a regular basis:
Ugg Adirondack
Sorel waterproof leather Chelsea
Ankle suede heels
Flat suede over the knee

Mine are on the bottom of the wardrobe, double-layered on a shelf at the top of said wardrobe, and on a shoe rack in a cupboard under the stairs.

I have 16 pairs. But I used to be a footwear buyer!

2 x DMs
1 x Grenson
1 x waterproof knee high like DuBarrys
2 x other knee high
And then black biker ankle boots, navy suede chelsea boots, tan chelseas, tan and burgundy laced brogues, tan cuban heeled ones, brown slouchy ankle boots... all sorts!
