Bored of my hair - any suggestions?

My hair has been the same (slightly longer or slightly shorter) for the whole of my adult life.
I have occasionally attempted a fringe but then let it grow out when it gets difficult. I had a bob once, but it made my giant shoulders look even bigger 🤣
My colour has been done by the salon but looks pretty similar to my own (minus the odd greys that are now creeping in).
I would like to give it some body and life but just don't know how. I like waves but don't have the time to devote to doing them myself daily. Could a perm of done kind bd the answer?!! 😮
Am 43 and my job involves being seen as professional (think dresses from Hobbs and the like). Working mum with very little time (usually).
Thanks 😊

I think you’ll need some length off to make it thicker. I’d suggest a blunt cut with some products to thicken. When it’s wet spray this on.

Brush head upside down and wrap in fast dry towel thing.
When almost dry blast upside down with hairdryer to finish.
Then spray a fuck ton of dry shampoo on the roots before you go to bed. Will wake up all voomphy.
That’s the body side! For waves you’ll need straighteners or tongs. A perm is high maintenance! You’ll have to properly blow dry each time and your hair will be shit condition.
