H+M sizing?

Looking at a gorgeous blouse - reviews re. sizing are very varied. I'm a size 8 (sometimes a 6) - should I go small or extra small? (The size suggester is recommending a small and the model is wearing a small which always sways me, but am not sure!)

What blouse is it? I posted yesterday about how huge their sizes are. At the moment I'd say I'm a busty size 12 and I ordered and XS and it was still big. I'm sure XS would be your best bet, but if you prefer you could order both on Klarna and then only pay for what you keep. You won't be out of pocket for any of it while you decide

I'd go S myself; I find H&M is still very small plus some of their clothes work for all sorts of sizes. I'm a 6/8/10ish and I generally have S but I also have some M and L tops from pregnancy which still look okay.

It's all dependant on the item. That's why I asked which top it was. I could tell from the pic that the one I ordered was going to be quite big, and it was. I've purchased things from them in an XS while 7 months pregnant and I most definitely was not small lol.

I just wonder if an XS is so massive in some cuts, the XL must be absolutely massive?

I found that HM have introduced vanity sizes all over the place. I was also L but now M is plenty for me. I would size down.

You could need anything from an XS to a L. H and M sizing is all over the place.

I’d go for a S on balance.

P.S. @WineGetsMeThroughIt, in addition to my last post...I've just checked a few of my other H+M blouses bought over the last few years and they are size 6, but just can't decide on this one!

@MadameSapphire I've just tried it on and I would say the S fits more like a medium. I would definitely size down to the XS if I were you because the S is roomy on me, and doesn't pull in the bust and I have a very large chest. Had I not gained 20lbs during lockdown I would be buying the XS and I know I still wouldn't have been as small as you.

Saying all that, I'm not sure how I feel about it. I got the white one and with this massive collar I feel like I resemble this woman 😂 Will need to try and find a few ways to style it or it's going back.
