Best make up remover

Hi all, I recently have had ICL treatment (implantable contact lenses) and once I am able to wear eye make up again, I would like to find a decent make up remover that would not be overly harsh and would take make up off quite easily without too much trouble. Any suggestions please? TIA.

Do you wear waterproof make up? If so that is a different ball game. I have been trying the Superdrug Vitamin E eye make up remover cream (but not sure how it will stand up to your contact lenses). Sometimes I can remove my waterproof mascara with the rose miscellar lotion (I think it is by Garner). I also like Nivea the duo phase one but again not sure how happy your contacts will be.

Don't buy Boots essential (the blue bottle - stings like buggery. So does one of hte Nivea ones but cannot remember which. You could also try Simple.

I just use almond oil. Lovely for a face massage in the evenings, too.

I'm a big fan of FaceHalo. It's a little double sided flannel and you just use water. Works surprisingly well.

The Body Shop
Camomile cleansing balm - it's truly miraculous. A small amount melts into an oil in your hands and removes all make up

Lyonsleaf beauty balm. Really recommend this. Very gentle and moisturising.

Another for the Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Balm, it's amazing & very gentle. Wouldn't be without it.

So not much extensive rubbing required then? Is it OK to use around the eyes?

The camomile cleansing balm can be used all over the face even the eyes. Takes off all eye make up really easily then I just wipe off with a muslin cloth. If you can find someone who does body shop at home the products are usually discounted. If you are near a Body Shop I'm sure they would give you a sample
