Working from home wardrobe

I won't be returning to the office any time soon and I'm struggling with my working from home clothing. I could have a video call anytime so can't sit in my pjs and I need to get dressed to feel like I'm at work too if that makes sense. My go to look for work is generally black skinny jeans with a blouse or a Jersey dress. Jeans don't feel comfortable for a sitting at a desk all day, if I was at work in the office I would move around a lot more than I do at home and the dresses that I love feel overdressed at home. Budget as low as possible.

Culottes? I've got a couple of pairs that are super comfy then you can just pair with a plain or nice top depending what you fancy. I'm at SAHM but they make me feel more put together than wearing leggings or joggers around the house.

Change the jeans from skinny to a different cut or get some black cotton/linen trousers instead. Change the blouse to a nice top.

I wear leggings and my usual office tops (not blouses), my video calls are from the chest up so no one can see what’s on the bottom. I do my hair and make up each day too

I have to say I went to M&s and bought two pairs of identical comfortable jeans. Would stretchy chinos or ponte leggings do the job if you don't like jeans? E.g. Gap,?
I'm just trying to collect some more colourful tops for Teams but that's about it.

Wear the dresses if you like them and they're comfy - why not! I like using WFH to wear wildly impractical things like a Japanese silk kimono.
Otherwise leggings, leggings and tunics, harems, fancy joggers, skirts, casual dresses. The sartorial world us your oyster.

I bought a dress and bright jumper yesterday for wfh. All my work dresses have been put away!!

I also turn my camera off.

I haven’t bought anything new speicifically for working at home. I wear quite comfy dresses for work anyway, so they are still being used. Also a lot of jersey long sleeved tops, and merino cardis, and a nice stretchy pair of trousers.

And often a light scarf for my neck, as my home is generally not as warm as the office.
