Footwear with dresses/skirts

What footwear do you all wear with skirts/midi dresses? I've got sandles on today, but my feet are abit soggy from the puddles!

Pretty much exclusively wear them with white trainers or converse during the day. Sandals if it's baking hot.

Just midi skirts and dresses in general really.

I have some white trainers from Topshop that I wear with dresses and skirts. Sandals in very hot weather. I also have a pair of chunky black boots that work well with dresses and skirts, I think boots can be a bit hit or miss though.

White trainers mostly, maybe sandals or some light ballerinas.

Combat boots, pointy toed ankle boots, sneakers (I have one pair in black and one in red,) and if it's really hot ballet flats. Possibly not the answers you're looking for, but white trainers with the outfits I wear would just look wrong.

Definitely trainers/sneakers for me! Light ones or something with a chunky white sole works well with midi skirts

Normally Birkenstocks from about April to October whatever the weather but I have ventured into white trainers this summer too. Boots all winter, I rarely wear shoes due to awkward feet.
