Bags are just a nuisance - if you have more than one you have to keep swapping things around. Shoes define an outfit and a person (well women's shoes anyway!).

oh I disagree! I have been known to style entire outfits around the shoes

I must own at least 60 pairs so I’m definitely a fan and I’m definitely working on the basis that I won’t be bare foot but still can’t see them see them as anything other than in a supporting role.

I would like to have a bag though but I don't care about bags I use a small one instead of pockets until it has to be replaced then get another cheap one and repeat the process.
