Hey can you please recommend a good coverage foundation please? I was using Mac but thought I’d have a change. Thanks

Bobbi Brown is good x I love Mac though!

Nars Sheer Glow. It's not really glowy or sheer but it looks great on most people.

Il Makiage is fantastic! The website asks you loads of questions then recommends the right one for you. I couldn't believe how good the colour was for me and you can choose the coverage you want. I'm sure they do a money back guarantee too.

I use this Vichy Dermablend one and its the best I've used for a full coverage and I've tried most of the high street full coverage ones as well as many of the higher end ones.

I've had surprisingly good results with the foundation from The Ordinary. It's every bit as good as the Mac Studio Fix I was using before. Stays on all day and has a nice glow. And it's about £7.

I use the vicky dermablend one if I want a flawless look. It's brilliant

loreal infallible foundation. Best thing I've ever used!!
Stays put all day, great coverage, doesn't sink into my fine lines and is fab on my combo skin. I sometimes struggle with dry patches then end up looking so cakey but this stuff is fab. Really cheap aswell tried it on a bit of a whim but wouldn't use anything else now.

I use CC cream now, sits much better on my skin. I use the IT cosmetics one

If you want full cover then Doublewear, Dermablend or oddly, Nars sheer glow (which has nothing sheer about it!) L',Ordeal Infallible or Rimmel do a full one as well. 24 hour something.

RD15 · 18/08/2020 09:00

Another vote for NARS - it glides on.

Frosty26827 · 18/08/2020 09:25

ThisIs I came on to recommend The Ordinary foundation too. I tried the serum one which as a bit too sheer for me and I bought the higher coverage one, which I’m very impressed with.

The problem that I have with most foundations is that they are too yellow and I am very cool toned. If you are neutral/warm toned, a lot of foundations fit, look for those that have a good range of color though and try to get samples, I have wasted a lot of money buying something that ended up looking good in store and shite in daylight.

Kez0777 · 18/08/2020 11:02

Does anyone know if you can get matched for foundations these days? I'm venturing out to the shops tomorrow and wondered if they are still doing this in department stores

heidbuttsupper · 18/08/2020 11:09

Estee Lauder double wear

VictoriaBun · 19/08/2020 18:42

Has anyone tried the IT Cc foundation . Is it any good ?
