Best bootcut jeans

I've decided to ditch the skinnies!
Where does good bootcut jeans? What other styles are good for an inverted triangle? I'm 5' 8".

I'm 5'8" too. I used to absolutely live in Oasis Scarlet Bootcut jeans - a lovely navy colour and a wee bit of stretch - but with them going into receivership I'm stuck. I prefer a 33" leg which is also hard to find.

I'm tempted to try Next. I've had success from them in the past.

I used always to buy skinnies from Gap, but I can't be bothered fighting with their crap website to look at bootcuts.

Oh I love Gap mid-rises at the moment! I used to like River Island too.

I've dug out my old River Island and New Look ones. I had a quick look for new ones but most seemed have just under the armpit waistbands whereas I prefer them low on my hips.

Mini bootcut from H&M. I'm 5'9 and they're long enough. I like the big square pockets. Cheap and comfy, light or dark with no embellishments or rips.

Abercrombie and Fitch do the best bootcut jeans - I’m around your height OP but obviously have short legs as I get their regular leg not the longer one. So glad I got the recommendation on her a while ago.

I look dreadful in mine which I kept. What shoes make them look less awful. It is it my frumpy demeanour that drags them down?

Chelsea boots, that sort of thing.
Not flats or loafers.

Are they old @polkadotpjs? I think the shape has changed quite a bit, they are narrower in the thigh now. Less flappy.

My faves are the M&S ones. I appreciate that they do them in short sizes also.

I recently dumped skinny jeans and found monsoon bootcuts, they are gorgeous, I’m hippy, (big hips) so they suit my figure really well and I don’t feel as big in them

Another vote for m&s, I bought a pair of dark blue, slim bootleg, with waist, shape enhancer and they are so flattering (and comfy)

I shall try m&s first.....as soon as they get some stock in!

Gap boot cut. I don't have any problem with their website, apart from the fact that I couldn't find underwear in their menu anywhere and had to search for individual items. Was a bit weird.
