Give me your thoughts on what to do with my hair

I'm 46 with greying, thick, coarse dry hair.

I dye it at home every 3 weeks.

I've had the same home hairdresser for years. I tried a salon a few years ago and they have me a wonky cut which put me off trying again.

I used to love my thick hair and got lots of compliments when I was in my twenties and thirties.

Now I hate it. I scrape it back and it's just a frizzy mess no matter how hard I try with it.

Please give me your thoughts on what I could do with it!

Wow it’s completely transformed, and looks fab!

My hair is the same as yours OP. Here’s me just out of the salon where they took out the weight and added some highlights to blend the silver. I do this every few months (highlights) and the cut every 6 weeks. Hope that is helpful.

@NewToRenting Hope this helps. Photo from the front. I must admit I'm finding it hard dealing with hair round my face when I previously had it tied back or clipped back ALL of the time!

Thanks for the recommendations of keratin treatments. I really want to keep going with them and I'm happy to do at home if I get the same results.
