Handbag for c. £500 - £800

Soooo I have not bought myself a handbag in YEARS. DH and I have made good savings during lockdown and I think it's about time to treat myself / invest in a practical, black handbag that I can use for both work and play.

But I have no idea where to start so would love your recommendations.

I'm looking for something big enough for wallet, make up and other bits and bobs (doesn't need to be massive) and am looking for something that will last (in terms of durability and style).

What are your thoughts?

I have an Aspinal bag in that range that I love, and they do regular offers and sales. There are some nice Mulberry bags too that could work.

what sort of bag do you want? day bag? shoulder straps?

I would check vestiaire, if you are ok to buy second hand. You can get a good prada galleria or fendi and they last long.

Look at TK Maxx especially if you're not sure what you want. I got a really nice Marc Jacobs bag for about £200 but they have all sorts of brands and you might get more for your money.

I got my last handbag from Smythson in the sale. Matches and Net a Porter sales are still on, you might get a bargain or try The Outnet.

The Mulberry small Amberley is really nice. But not sure what size you're looking for.
