Bra rubs between boobs

Is this a fit issue? I wear a plunge bra because I don't get on that well with balconettes, but I am finding even with a plunge that the underwiring rubs in the centre. It's obviously difficult to try things on atm but I'm wondering whether this indicates I'm wearing the wrong size or whether it's just the bra style. I have lost weight recently.
I'd rather not ditch the underwiring completely so any advice would be great!

wrong size, try booborbust.com/

Yy to Boob or Bust. It totally changed my size and advises on best styles for the type of breasts you have.

Why not ditch the underwiring?

It’s an instrument of torture, wrecks washing machines, and shortens the bra life.

Find decent non underwires.

schmalex · 16/08/2020 10:21

Oh gosh, B or bust is saying 28G.

Order one in that size, and a 30FF too. See which one is best.

BoB also say to have the bra on the loosest band hooks, as they do stretch over time - you then move in a hook.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 16/08/2020 10:23

What size are you wearing currently?

zgaze · 16/08/2020 10:24

I have the same problem and Boob or Bust gives me a 28G measurement as well - which obviously is a vanishingly rare size. I’ve just discovered those M&S DD+ bralette things though which are surprisingly amazing, really comfortable and give a good shape...and no digging in pain in the middle because no wires.

JackPaul · 16/08/2020 10:25

I recommend getting your new size from Brastop.com never had any probs with them.

Fluffycloudland77 · 16/08/2020 10:28

@zgaze Its not a rare size it’s just that women don’t know their a 28G. I’m a 28D but places like M&S would put me in a 34AA.

schmalex · 16/08/2020 13:05

I'm currently in 30F so I suppose it's reasonable. I'll check brastop, thank you! It's just a bit depressing how few places are going to sell my size.

Try the panache cleo koko plunge bra

www.panache-lingerie.com/shop/product/koko-plunge/colour-black

I’m a 28E and have a bony chest between my boobs which most bras rub but these fit great. I usually buy from eBay etc as I’m not too fussed about colours so you can get cheaper ones.

schmalex · 16/08/2020 16:50

Thanks @cannaethink, I have a pretty bony chest too!

I heard a tip on here that you are actually meant to bend those middle wires out (with pliers) if necessary. I did and it worked.
