Has anyone had experience of having their hair cut with Vicky #Vickyqueenofcurls in Manchester?
My hair is naturally curly but my current hairdresser will straighten my hair before cutting.
I'm looking at booking an appointment with Vicky as I've seen her advertised & seen her instagram posts.
I'm just starting the Curly Girl Method and have realised I probably need to change hairdressers to one who knows more about curly hair.

She's great, last time I called (pre lockdown) there was a 3 month waiting list Shock

Very very good but her prices were creeping up and it is soooo hard to get an appointment. It's a really basic salon too so there's no pamper factor for your money.
She did introduce me to Trepadora though for which I will be fotever grateful 😁

@JMAngel1 I've never heard of Trepadora? I actually called yesterday and they said she has no availability until next year...! I think online it says her prices are from £65. My hair is really long, so I can imagine the cost will be quite a bit more than £65 for me, especially as you've noticed her prices have been creeping up...!

Next year, good god!
The last time I went, it was £80 for a cut and conditioning treatment. You kind of feel.like you have to go along with whatever she recs plus then there's the tip.

@JMAngel1 Gosh that is pricey!
I've been told she now has a trainee who she has been training to cut curly hair who does have availability starting from next week. I'm not sure if I should book in with her rather than wait until next year. I would like to think the price will be a bit less with a trainee, and hopefully still a good quality cut.
