Reuseable cleansing pads

I hope this is in the right topic, I wasn't sure whether to put it here or in Ethical Living.
I've recently bought some reusable bamboo pads for cleansing/toning and they're brilliant. I'm trying to reduce the amount of single use things I have.

This may seem like a daft question but can I use them for removing nail varnish? I feel like it wouldn't wash off and I don't want to ruin them.

Has anyone tried this or will I need to keep some cotton wool in for this purpose?

I purchased some reusable cleansing pads JUST for removing nail varnish.

And yes, the nail varnish doesn't wash off. The instructions say to just keep using it, and from having tried once I now see that the stain is little and there is room to use the same pad at least 8-10 times. Then I will try to still use it unless completely impossible, before moving to the next one. Still an improvement vs single use pads.

All of the above to say that no, I wouldn't use my make up removal pads for that purpose as you can't take the varnish off.

Happy for other posters to tell me I am doing something wrong and you CAN remove it somehow!

They look fab! I like the fact that they're dark. I think the thought of ruining my lovely cream bamboo pads put me off using them for nail varnish removal!
