Is shein an ok website to use?

As title really. Keeps popping up on Facebook and I’m a bit wary. Anyone have any experience?

I've shopped from them, I really like their tshirts but their dresses are horrid ( material wise).. 😊😊

I've bought lingerie from there and it's been very good quality for the price.

Yeah, it's like a big online Primark type shop. My teenage daughter asked me to order stuff for her and it arrived very quickly and was much better quality than I expected.

Don't bother if you're tall. It will all be out of proportion- I sent it all back. Except a bag, the bag was lovely!

They rip off other people's designs to make at worryingly cheap prices in China. There is simply no way that they are paying workers ethically at the costs they offer.

I'd avoid.

I’ve had some nice stuff from there. Only one order but it was all decent quality and true to size.

They openly sold swastika necklaces. Are you ok with supporting a company that thinks that is ok?

Wow, can't believe anyone is positive about this shop. I wouldn't compare it to primark either, which I love. I ordered some underwear and dresses from here - nasty cheap tat. Not true to size either and a total waste of money. I really wouldn't recommend.

I had no idea about the swastika necklaces! That's the end of that then.

I’ve had a couple of orders from them, mostly nice stuff but a couple of things were awful material or out of proportion on me.
I’ve got a few lovely tea dresses from them.

For the record it wasn’t a nazi swastika - but easy to mix up so should have had more thought for the European market.

Shopped there once and ordered about 4 things. One was wrong item, another was badly stitched and clasp came off trousers first wear another item was not as described. Cheap but won't shop with them again.

It was a swastika symbol which is widely used in Hinduism and you will see pretty much everywhere in South Asia. It was not the Nazi swastika. Shein removed it anyway because of the uproar but Hindus wear Swastika necklaces and have symbols painted on their homes. It’s an important Hindu symbol, especially common at Diwali.

I have ordered a few things and most have been ok.

Dresses were good and they fitted me well, I am tall.

I like it....got great pyjamas, denim shorts and an amazing dress

The quality if really random--I think that is one of the big problems.

It's good for things like PJs and kids shorts etc. The dress quality isn't great and it's a gamble but my teen DD loves it. And Pretty Little Thing.

I liked it. Very cheap, quality is fine - on par with new look. Delivery takes a week.

My teenage DD loves it. The quality is much better than I expected, and I found the measurements pretty accurate too - ordered 2 pairs of jeans for her in different sizes, based on the measurements quoted for the styles, and both fitted.

Some awful models with far too much lip filler though!

I’ve had some amazing things and some rubbish things. Costs a bit to send it back, but overall cost is still cheap. I look at the reviews and photos to see what size is best as generally come up small but also variable
