Facial hair!

Hi

I have quite a hairy face. Getting worse as I have gotten older. My sideburns are so bad I haven’t worn my hair up in years.

I had dermaplaning before lockdown which was great. I even wore my hair up! Although I can’t afford £50 every 4-6 weeks so would like to find a home treatment.

I’m not bothered about the hair on whole face, just sideburns and jaw line. (I already wax my lip and have done for 15 years).

I’m thinking about an epilator - but wanted to know what people’s experiences are? Or any other options??

Ive used an epilator (painful), a jml type facial hair remover (not bad), one of those tweezer man hair removers (like manual epilating, again painful). Currently derma planing at home and this is pretty good. Blades are cheap and there are lots of good tutorials on Youtube.

I'm pretty sure Veet have just a released a home derma planing thing so you could always use that in-between your salon visits?

Oh hadn’t thought about home dermaplaning. Will look into. Thank you

I get really bad peach fuzz now I'm getting older, and baby hair on my hair line. I just got one of those Hollywood browzer blades and it was great for that. I think it would be great for trimming your side burns and is pretty much painless. My skin was slightly irritated a little immediately after, bit then I did effectively dry shave it. You can get cheaper versions.

Tinkle razors are as cheap as chips From amazon and soo good (like a flat razor so I bit like dermaplne?) and is use a regular leg epilator on my peach fuzz and sideburns!

Don't use an epilator on your face, it's very painful and much too harsh. Voice of bitter experience here, and I'm fine using it everywhere else. I made my upper lip very sore.

Wax for sideburns. Tinkle blades for everywhere else.
