Bras

Can I wear a sports bra all the time? I have awful trouble with straps staying up. Been measured and fitted numerous times but still have this problem. Racer back style bras seem to be the answer but can’t find them apart from in sports bras.

Sports bras can be a bit bulky but the racer back thing is life changing due to not having to hoik straps. Pull on bra tips not as good as have quite big boobs so not enough support.

Straps falling down can mean the back size is too big. Are you wearing the correct size?

Or look for a multiway bra

FirelighterGirl · 12/08/2020 08:03

Yes to multi way. I've got a couple of those and cross the straps over the back.
Annoying to put on as it has to go over my head but it's so much more comfy. They are wireless ones too.

Gap has nice ones

I wear sports bras a lot of the time 'cause they're so comfy!

My sports bras aren't very bulky - they came with nipple padding, which I took out, and are quite nice, plain, racer-back elasticated styles that look great.

The only 'negative' thing is that they flatten my chest into one small monoboob, whereas my normal bras exaggerate each individual boob?

Can you measure and give us your measurements?

I had this problem and used sports bras then I got measured properly in bravissimo and I was a 28DD not a 34AA that M&S put me in.

Bra straps don’t move and it cleared up my upper backache.

Hyperfish101 · 12/08/2020 12:31

I have been measured a few times and fitted in various places. The problem persists!

Thanks for the suggestions. Will stick my measurements on later to see if anyone can suggest better sizing.

You can get clips that convert to a racer back

KatharinaRosalie · 12/08/2020 14:30

Some bras now also come with an integrated racerback clip, Freya has several options, some Deco models for example. Also check Bravissimo Abby and Alexa.
