I'm booked in for cut and highlights later this week. I've had a short choppy Bob for a few years now, but its now shoulder length and itprritating the heck out of me, so I want to go short. Had it short before, that's no biggie as I know it suits me.
Colour is the issue. My hair is dark brown, and peppered with white or grey which makes the remaining colour look black, way too dark for me. I normally have highlights, to give an overall mid golden brown effect.
Do highlights work with a short cut? Would I be better asking for something more solid coloured and bolder? Seems a bit of a waste to have highlights that'll be cut out in 6 weeks....
