Fake tan for face?

toastmeahotcrossbun · 10/08/2020 20:09

Can anyone recommend me a good facial fake tan, especially if it's one for sensitive-ish skin?

I was using the lancome flash bronzer and it's about to run out and discontinued Sad

I love this so much that I'm on my third pot, it's such a gorgeous colour and really moisturising.

I use these. You just drop a few drops into your usual face cream and apply. I use 4/5 drops once a week so a bottle lasts for ages.

Those look good, thanks! I should say that I need it to be pretty foolproof as well, but both of them look as if they tick that box.

I bought my mum the self tanning drops from superdrug and she loves them.

chocolatesaltyballs22 · 10/08/2020 21:38

Ah nooooo, I didn't know the Lancome one was discontinued - gutted! I've used it for years and love it.

I did get some Skinny Tan the other week, a body one and a face one. Seems ok but not as good as the Lancome.

I find the drops you put in your moisturiser a bit ineffective. Tried some Clarins ones and they were rubbish.

SlightlyJaded · 10/08/2020 21:42

I love the Lancome one, but this is my number two

Might try the drops though. I like the idea of using my preferred moisturiser.

Yes the Clarins tanning drops are great. I use them for my legs sometimes

PawPatrolMakesMeDrink · 10/08/2020 21:45

I like the drops because you can vary the amount you put in to deepen the tan.

toastmeahotcrossbun · 10/08/2020 22:20

That's a good point about the drops - can always start with one drop and build it up. Going to give those Superdrug ones a go, thanks everyone Flowers

I'm very pale and really like this one

I wake up looking healthier, it's very subtle and foolproof

toastmeahotcrossbun · 10/08/2020 23:12

That does look good 500BusStops thanks

OP thanks for starting this thread! Another one here who's only ever used the Lancome flash gel bronzer for face, trying to make the last bits of my final bottle last as long as possible and was wondering what to try next!

HeyMicky · 11/08/2020 18:40

Amanda Harrington is really excellent. 3 different undertones and comes with a brush for sculpting

toastmeahotcrossbun · 15/08/2020 23:20

SeaMayweed I am on the very end of my flash gel too. Can't believe why they stopped it, it was so good. I bought the drops and tried them today but only started with one drop so I need to increase it as I can't see any difference.

I really liked the Lancome gel though, and it was foolproof. HeyMicky that one sounds like you need some technical skill and tbh I would mess that up, but thanks for the recommendation.
