Dorothy Perkins Sizing

Hello all. I haven't bought anything from DP's for years, so was wondering how their sizing is? They have quite a few nice midi dresses I have my eye on! For example I am a size 12 in New Look, Next but would need a 14 in Zara or River Island. I'm 5ft8 and am more pear shaped these days! Thanks alot!

Unhelpfully I’ve found it depends on the dress. In the more stretchy materials I wear a 12, but anything with a zip requires a 14!

As above it depends! When I buy the short jeans I’m a ten, regular length the 12 can be a squeeze. They do tend to be slightly larger I’ve found though. I’d go for a 12, it’s definitely more generous than Zara sizing.

I'd say I'm an 8 in DP but a 10 in NL.
