Capsule smart wardrobe suggestions

I need a capsule wardrobe for a month of work abroad.
I have already a very smart tailored pair of black trousers and a cream silk shirt to build upon. I also have some LK Bennett nude heels.

The climate will be similar to the UK and I don't want to pack loads. There may be some evening events so a versatile LBD would be useful if anyone has seen a good one.

Total budget is £1000- any suggestions please. I have a good variety of statement and classic jewellery to help.

PS. I don't like very short sleeves. I am 45, 5 foot 10 and a size 14 if that gives you an idea of body shape!
