outfit for going out straight from work

I work as a carer so normally wear jeans or leggings with a top and runners. I am drawing a blank on what to wear that I can dress up a bit for a night out after work. Ill be on public transport so don't want to bring a whole change of clothes if I can avoid it.
I don't need to be superglam, just presentable will do. If anybody can link to any outfits they think would work I'd be very appreciative!
I'm short and on the slim side but have a noticeable jelly belly so need something to disguise that

something like this would work with jeans, and you could bring a flat pair of shoes with you in your bag to switch into from your trainers?

I would probably bring a change, a dress and a pair of ballet flats takes up no room and will fit in a normal tote bag.

My son has a very glam Carer. And often on aFriday she wears gorgeous earrings and then puts on bright lipstick and heels before she leaves to meet her boyfriend. She is usually wearing a blouse and jeans. Something like that?
