Purple shampoo but not purple

Not sure if this is a thing but hoping it is. I want some silver/purple shampoo to keep the brassiness away but the bleach bits always end up going purple and I look like I have purple highlights.

Recommendations please.

Don't over use the purple shampoo, only use it every few washes, otherwise it does start to stain!
This was pointed out to me by my hairdresser when it was looking a particularly yucky dull colour!
