Just that really! Mid 30s combination skin and quite pale, I fancy a new foundation with decent coverage for day to day wear-hit me with your holy grail recommendations please!

Armani Face Fabric. It's amazing.

Perricone MD without question!

No7 Hydroluminous £14
Better than Chanel Lancôme Charlotte Tilbury Clinique and Bobbi Brown.

I love the No7 protect and perfect foundation, I’m in the shade Calico. I also recently picked up the Flower Beauty one in the shade Shell and it’s very very nice. It actually looks too pale on my at first but when it’s blended with a damp sponge it’s a perfect match.

DefinatelyAWeeGobshite · 04/08/2020 18:50

Sunday the hydraluminous is also lovely! As is the stay perfect, I really like No7 foundations

saucyspice · 04/08/2020 23:06

Revolution foundation drops are amazing and I have tried a fair few! Good coverage and gives nice finish (not matte but not too dewy!). The F1 shade is good for pale skin, I mix with F2 in summer

Another vote here for the No 7 Stay Perfect

JorisBonson · 05/08/2020 09:30

I must have spent thousands over the years trying to find the perfect foundation, then this weird thing popped up on an Instagram ad and I've never looked back...

Armani luminous silk. All day every day. £43 but worth every penny

mnahmnah · 05/08/2020 09:37

MAC face and body is lovely. Really light, but buildable. I am pale with combi skin too and it is the nicest I have tried. Not too expensive either.

Immigrantsong · 05/08/2020 09:38

My personal favourites are:
Bare minerals original mineral foundation
La Roche Posay Toleriane Teint mineral foundation
Doll 10 Hydralux
Guerlain Terracotta Foundation

Interesting. I don't rate No. 7 hydraluminous, literally tried it again yesterday while doing a clear out, on mynpale skin it leaves an odd sheenon my skin, accentuates pores, lacks the coverage I want and doesn't last. My skin isn't oily so not sure why. Not a fan of Stay Perfect either for similar reasons. Beautifully Matte is the best of the bunch and Calico is decently pale.

On a budget I really, really rate boots CYO lifeproof long lasting foundation, which is half price at the moment and an absolute steal at £3.75. Higher budget i really enjoy Lancome Teint Idole.

chubbyhotchoc · 05/08/2020 12:59

Mac face and body I would only use on my legs. It's watery as hell. All the Dior foundations are pretty darn good, Lancôme teint idole is lovely but I do always come back to Estée Lauder double wear

Paddingtonthebear · 05/08/2020 13:04

I use Nars sheer glow (it’s not sheer btw, that’s just the texture) but would be interested to hear why Face Fabric is so good
