The ordinary products/routine

I've heard a lot about The Ordinary products and would like to try them with a view to using as part of my daily skincare routine but I'm not sure where to start and find them a little confusing (not too sure what does what). Does anyone have any recommendations please and also for something within the range with an SPF in. I have some skin damage so anything good for that also would be great. Thank you 😊

What kind of damage are we talking about? Acne scarring or sun damage?.

It’s usually £20 a month for whatever you need and £3 postage but their doing the first month for postage only.

It’s shifted my dark patches from the contraceptive implant & acne hyperpigmentation scarring.

I was wondering this myself . I have never used their products. I am very conscious of ingredients however and trying to avoid nasties which are carcinogenic or harmful to the environment. How does this brand match up?

OP I use both dermatica and the ordinary.

I use dermatica at night, followed by the ordinary’s buffet and then the ordinary’s moisturising factors.

In the day I use bravura’s calendula glycolic toner, then the ordinary vit c, then the ordinary moisturiser, then LRP sunblock.

Dermatica is the most important due to the retin a, along with wearing sunblock in the day.

Hi OP, I use the ordinary and currently am trying to deal with some pigmentation issues.

I'm using their granactive retinol in squaline for general anti-ageing along with alpha-arbutin which is really good for pigmentation and then add moisturiser afterwards. They don't include sun protection in any of their products but do have a mineral sunscreen, but I wouldn't recommend it as it's very chalky.

I have come across Comfy Water Sunblock SPF 50 by Purito. It is a Korean brand. Mineral sunblock with no nasties. It’s so light and easy to apply.
