Help! I'm after a good quality, (very) fitted blazer to wear with jeans

I am a size 10 hourglass figure. I've always enjoyed wearing structured blazers with jeans. But I need a new one now. Where can I find a (very) fitted, good quality one please?

Following. Before lockdown I was a size 10 hourglass thinking of buying my first blazer to wear with jeans. Hopefully I can lose a stone and this thread will inspire me!

Having just chucked 3 blazers (very cheap ones) into the charity bag, I'm following this with interest. I'm ready to spend more for something much higher quality.

Am also interested.....

If you like fancy fabrics, try Shibumi. I have two from them, one silk and one cashmere, and the quality is amazing (should be for the price). I also have a Harris tweed on for the autumn which came from that well know bastion of fashion and style (ahem!), House of Bruar!

I was looking for a nice blazer a while ago and ended up finding a lovely one at Joules for about £60. I also saw a nice one in Debenhams but they didn't have my size.

This can be very fitted!

Fitted blazers aren’t very ‘in’ right now which you probably don’t care about but dies mean it may be harder to find what you want. It sounds like you want something like the fitted classic Balmain style blazer with double breasted buttons which really cinch you in. Zara frequently do dupes. If you google Balmain blazer dupes you may find what you’re looking for. Unless you want to pay Balmain prices then if so, go for it!

I have one from Max Mara, navy jersey and very fitted, it's lovely. A few years old though. Might be worth a look.

Reiss do lovely blazers but I've had a quick look and they don't look super fitted. Maybe you could size down.

This is amazing, and half price already with a further 10% off with code EXTRA10HN But only in an 8 at present

I hope someone leaps at it

@nevertrust - the fabric isn't good and it is 100% polyester lining.

Holland and cooper?

Ratonastick those Shibumi dressing gowns look incredible. What are the length like? I'm only 5ft2 so may be swamped

High fives to a fellow shorty, but can’t help I’m afraid. I have a couple of jackets but none of the other beautiful things. I did email them to check sizing for my first jacket and they were very lovely and helpful so probably worth dropping a line to find out.

I’ve got this Marks one in navy, and it’s a lovely fit, very flattering: www.marksandspencer.com/textured-single-breasted-blazer/p/clp60256635

I’ve had a couple of nice blazers from Banana Republic:

I’m an hourglass and my two structured & very flattering blazers are from Reiss and Zara.

thanks, Ratonastick, I'll drop them a mail.
