Is Vitamin C suitable for all skin types?

I have blemish prone skin. I’ve never used Vitamin C but been hearing that it’s really good. Would it be suitable for my skin & if so any particular brand?

I get hormonal acne around the chin and jawline and Super Facialist vitamin C cleansing oil and also the micro polish have worked wonders. They also brighten old hyperpigmented scarring.

I like Paula's choice vitamin c booster 15% - definitely helps spots. Also check out retinols - they're proven to help spots (OTC versions are weaker versions of prescription acne medication)

Thanks all will look at these. Anyone else have experience using Vitamin C with skin like mine?

Check out Nadine Baggot's YouTube video on Vit C, there are lots of different types and concentrations and some are better than others. The best "type" is L-Ascorbic Acid in the ingredients list.
GOW have 23% Vit C and Ferrulic acid serum, I'm just finishing a bottle of that.
My favourite (and one I go back to) is Vichy. It just makes my skin glow.

It can be too harsh for sensitive skin.

Sunday Riley’s vitamin C serum is the only one I’ve ever even seen a difference from it was the best highly recommend

I used a Medik8 serum every morning, no idea if it works but it feels and smells good.
