Please help a novice to hair dying help her daughter.
DD is 11 and is desperate to add a vivid purple streak to her dark brown hair. But it must be out by the time term term starts. Is this possible and if so what would you recomend?
Thank you!

You would probably need to bleach the hair first to add the purple streak. You would then need a dark colour to cover it afterwards

Thnaks, I was afraid that was the case. She might need to wait (until she's old enough not to involve me)..

You can get clip in coloured extensions

Or hair chalk

I've been googling hair chalk but can't decide which are likely to work. Any recomendations? She's against clip in extensions though I think that would give the look she wants. We tried some "hair make up" stuff from savers but it didn't show in her hair at all. I had a very sad girl presenting me with a drawing of how she wants to look this morning but have to admit I don't know how to help her.
