Hair colour help

Hi,

I need some words of wisdom on having my hair coloured, please!

I'm just so bored with my hair and feel like I've lost my glossiness. I have naturally chestnut hair with a few greys here and there. I don't want a dramatic colour change or anything high maintenance just to have a bit of a boost and gloss up a bit. I don't want anything too unnatural looking and I'm absolutely clueless what I should be asking for.

I've only ever had Headmasters baby lights on my hair quite a few years ago, which I liked but think I might want a bit more oomph. Has anyone ever had their Completely Gorgeous colour? I'm worried that might be a bit too high maintenance - I don't want to be going to the hairdressers every month.

I'm having it cut next next week to see whether I feel better once the dead ends have gone and I've got fresh layers. I've also ordered a glossing treatment to do at home until I make up my mind. I'm overly cautious when it comes to my hair!

I went a couple of shades darker at my most recent appointment and it makes my hair look so much shinier and glossier! Nothing too drastic but I'm really happy with it.

Can I ask which glossing treatment you bought OP? Looking for one myself.

Are you me, OP?! Literally just sitting here this evening with the same thought about my hair. Looking a bit 'witchy' with the grey's around my temples and top of head.

I got Josh Wood Colour Shot - no idea if it will make the least bit of difference!
