I was stupid and desperate during lockdown, so bleached my already very damaged hair and surprising no one - I suffered lots of breakage!
But now I am even more self conscious, and embarrassed about my hair. I haven’t found a hairdresser I trust yet - I had a hair disaster last year for my wedding, then found a new hairdresser who was so lovely but she moved away, and have only had my hair cut once since then with a new hairdresser who’s salon wasn’t that welcoming (but vair naice!)
Anyway, post-Covid, I feel like hairdressers are even less welcoming to new customers (particularly ones who have messed with their own hair 🙈)
I really want a light ash brown balayage, with some short extensions (I have a blunt cut bob, although now very mullet-y!) so my hair can have some regrow this without much maintenance
But I still want the light blonde highlights (?)
At the moment my hair is a very yellowy light blonde at least a 9 or 10 level.
How do I ask a new hairdresser to do this? I’m so scared - any hairdressers who can explain how to ask for what you want would be much appreciated.
