DUO Boots- gone down the pan?

Does anyone know?

I had a look on their website hoping to see new season's boots but nothing is showing when I click on the Boots tab.

Companies House shows them as 'dormant' so wondering is this is due to Covid and shop in Bath is shut or if they have folded.

Didn’t they change their name a bit back? 🤔

I think Duo Boots is the new name.

The website is weird- there is nothing behind the banner ads but if you scroll down there are boots but “your basket is unavailable”.

Just looking at my emails and they haven’t emailed me since February which is unusual. Although it’s possible I unsubscribed in a fit of Covid-induced frugality but I don’t remember doing that.

They were Ted and Muffy then went back to being DUO under new owners.

Hmmm if I click on Boots it comes up with a tick box for sizes but clicking on them doesn't do anything and I can't see any boots.

Such a shame if they have gone down, although it wasn't the same since the terrible rebrand and then reversal, they pretty much doubled the prices. The sales used to be good for a better deal too. But they are the only place I know of that make attractive leather boots for my 'sturdy' calves

Well, I can now see the boots! Weird. And they have an active facebook page with posts today.

Jilsen do good wise leg boots. They are a Dutch company.

They officially closed down at the end of March just after lockdown. They had a farewell sale but then two months later they were back- maybe new investors? There are definitely trading. Try clearing your cache or opening the website in incognito mode.

I have a pair of Huntsman boots from 10 years ago when they were called Florence. Still lovely.

DuoBoots is back! While the stores are not longer, you can find them at www.duoboots.com. They offer booties in standard and wide fit as well as tall boots with up to 11 calf sizes.

I'm glad they're back, I still wear a pair of their boots that I bought ten years ago. They're beginning to look a little tired but have been fantastic.
