When I was a teenager I had around half a dozen of them!

I’ve just looked and apparently they are back!

I remember getting one in a duty free shop when I was about 14! It smelled amazing. Haven’t thought about them for years.

Sherloidbaisherloid · 29/07/2020 19:32

Juicy tubes were amazing! I had a huge collection of them, will need to have a look

Hippofrog · 29/07/2020 19:44

Oh I really loved them. I might just have to get one to reminisce

Puddlelane123 · 29/07/2020 19:45

I ruddy loved them! Had loads and used to get them out to admire my collection all the time! Didn’t love the constant insects that wld meet their end on my lips during summer though...

TheQueef · 29/07/2020 19:47

The set from the plane mag was my holiday treat.

Hippofrog · 29/07/2020 19:50

@TheQueef I once got the limited edition spf sunblock one in a yellow tube on the plane. God I thought I was the height of sophistication 😂

JoysOfString · 29/07/2020 19:53

I saw an ad for them being back, but they didn't seem to be the same types as they used to be, but new ones. So no return of my beloved lychee - however the new colours do look nice.

I love them, and not only for the lips but also they are great as hair gel for flyaways and texture on the ends (though not in a really bold colour on blonde hair obviously)

A beautiful Juicy Tubes is the kind of thing I like to buy on a browse around the shops, so I'll look out for them when I finally get around to doing that.

starrynight19 · 29/07/2020 19:54

Wow totally forgot about them. Loved getting one from the airport duty free Grin

JeSuisPoulet · 29/07/2020 19:55

Wow I wore that for about 2 years, all around Australia. Most annoying was if the wind blew and you had to spend about a minute picking your hair off your lips. Ex hated them as they ended up on him and he said it made me look plastic Grin obviously didn't work on stopping me.

TheQueef · 29/07/2020 19:56

Me too Hips with my Givanche prism and Organza plane specials, the Organza scented nail polish was the highlight of Turkey.
So cool.

Puddlelane123 · 29/07/2020 19:58

Ah my beloved lychee...

ichifanny · 29/07/2020 19:58

I loved them but found one in an old bag and make up has came on so much since then and there are so much better products for much cheaper these days

MrDarcysMa · 29/07/2020 21:54

Everyone stopped buying them because they have the consistency of tar and your hair all got stuck to your mouth in the gentlest breeze

JoysOfString · 29/07/2020 21:57

Ah see I have short hair - solves that problem. I like the tar consistency, at least it lasts for a while. Though I wonder if the old one ichifanny found in a bag had maybe gone a bit manky :o

vixxo · 29/07/2020 23:35

I had a peachy juicy tube and it tasted soooo good. But the consistency is indeed too much and my hair was constantly stuck to my lips.

TheWashingMachine · 30/07/2020 11:19

Clarins do similar lip glosses my kids always cause me of snacking on something delicious when I wear them.

onemouseplace · 30/07/2020 11:21

Lychee was my favourite as well. These really take me back to a time and place - I'd just started working in London after uni.

LovelyWeekAway · 30/07/2020 11:34

Loved these too
Had loads
My favourite was Fraise nice reddy tint to it

Also used to buy them at duty free
These were an Ibiza clubbing holiday staple make up item

Oly4 · 30/07/2020 13:52
