Prepping for a date - skin / hair advice!

I’ve been single for 4 years and am going on a date on Saturday. I am so out of practice!

I’ve recently dyed my hair and it’s quite dry. What would be a good treatment I could do before sat to give it some shine?

I’ve nailed my skin care over lockdown with acid / the ordinary. If I want a last minute boost what would be a good sheet mask? Do I do it on the day or before then?

Is there anything else I can do to look hot and blow his socks off?!

I wouldn't try anything too new on the day or before, I never react to products but the garnier sheet mask made my skin pink the next day.

I've been on A LOT of first dates, best advice is wear something you feel comfortable but good in. Sounds really cocky but I think if you feel confident it shows and is attractive.

I like the loreal hair masks, wash your hair in the morning just with shampoo, then towel dry and apply the mask and put it up in a bun, leave it til the evening then wash out. Always makes my hair nice and soft.

Ooh thank you! I will get that hair mask now! I used to go on loads of first dates but I’m out the habit and it feels alien now. I know this guy from work so it sort of takes the pressure off a bit. I have no idea what I’m wearing. I may just do a pamper the day before with a facial at home from bits I already have. You know when you want to feel a bit special getting ready? Maybe some bath oil is a better bet!

Haha, I'm cheap so this one, and only when it's half price/on offer! Grin

The garnier banana food mask is lovely and made my dry hair really shiny.
