Should I keep this or not?

Hello 👋 Me again.

Ordered this dress and it arrived too late for the occasion I was planning on wearing it for.

I have a (possible) birthday meal out in a few weeks and thought I could wear it for that. But which shoes? Or ditch the dress completely? Not sure if it's actually nice Confused The colours don't show great here. It's green and a kind of peachy colour. The pointy courts are dark green.

Thanks

I like it.

Not so fond of the shoes though, although they do look fine with it.

VictoriaBun · 27/07/2020 18:56

It really suits your figure, I'd keep it. I prefer the 2nd pic shoes. You look lovely.

user1485461206 · 27/07/2020 18:56

I think it looks lovely on you, I prefer the second shoes with it

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 27/07/2020 18:57

Sorry - only saw the first shoes. I prefer the second.

The dress would be nice with tights and boots in Autumn too.

LadyFrumpington · 27/07/2020 18:58

Super nice dress
i prefer the pointy shoes!!!

Hardbackwriter · 27/07/2020 18:58

I really like it, and I think it's a great shape on you. Another vote for the second pair of shoes, though I think the first look fine!

purpledagger · 27/07/2020 19:00

I think you look lovely. Prefer the 2nd shoes.

Brieminewine · 27/07/2020 19:00

Yep very flattering cut, like the second shoes but not the first!

dressedfordistress · 27/07/2020 19:08

Glad the 2nd shoes win the vote! Much comfier and easier to walk in.

And yes. @RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie I initially bought it hoping it could cross over into winter work wear with tights, boots and cardi

I don’t think it’s a flattering length.

happyjack12 · 27/07/2020 19:13

i like it on you.

villamariavintrapp · 27/07/2020 19:15

I don't think it does anything for you, sorry. Maybe a belt might help? But to me it makes you look wider than I think you are-the shoulder bits and the waist probably. I quite like the dress though, there's nothing wrong with it, I'm just not sure it's very flattering?

YogiBearcub · 27/07/2020 19:19

Dress is a great fit, keep it 😊. I think shoes will depend on the occasion. Both work, the first ones are more formal, the 2nd ones more fun

Givemeanidea · 27/07/2020 19:20

Love it

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 27/07/2020 19:20

It's really flattering - a lovely shape.

Sk1nnyB1tch · 27/07/2020 19:32

Love the dress on you and sandal style shoes are better. Courts are a bit ageing.
Will definitely work with tights and boots in a few weeks too. Try a soft blazer instead of a cardigan though.

TooMinty · 27/07/2020 19:33

I like it, with the second pair of shoes. Agree it can work in Autumn/Winter too with tights and boots and a cardigan.

mellowgreenspring · 27/07/2020 19:34

I like it, I'd be wearing converse and a leather jacket, or in the winter tights and ankle boots with a big coat, it's super flexible dress. And makes your figure look fab.

gypsywater · 27/07/2020 19:34

You have a stunning figure.
Second pair of shoes.

missyB1 · 27/07/2020 19:37

Looks great on you, second shoes definitely.

drumandthebass · 27/07/2020 19:38

I love the dress and really like the 2nd shoes.

ShyTown · 27/07/2020 19:42

Love the dress. The first shoes are quite corporate and the second aren’t my style. Personally I’d wear it with trainers for summer or tights and ankle boots in winter.

Grumpymum789 · 27/07/2020 20:45

It looks good on you and will work with boots & tights - keep it!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 27/07/2020 21:04

It would definitely work with trainers, biker jacket, denim jacket. It looks a very flexible dress!

MaximumDose · 27/07/2020 21:15

You look gorgeous in that op. I like both shoes but prefer the second.
