Rosacea

Since being pregnant with my second child I’ve developed acne rosacea on my cheeks. It flares up before my period and I get painful spots . Can anyone recommend anything really? Thanks in advance

Soolantra, prescription only. Sorted mine within a week, and I'd suffered for years. Don't let them give you oral antibiotics. Rosex also helped but didn't get rid of it completely, whereas Soolantra did.

Nothing over the counter works, despite what they say, so I'd go straight to your GP. If you can't get to a GP, the online pharmacies do it, you just have to upload pics.

You can get an antibiotic ointment from the GP but I didn't like it. I use Dermalex but it is expensive. It's a bugger as it's triggered by so many things and I can be fine for weeks and then have a massive flare up. Lifestyle changes sadly do seem to help. Mediterranean diet and no boozing keep my skin clearest but

Sorry posted too soon was going to say I don't actually ever stick to that...but it does work!

Thanks @Quiero. Yeah it’s such a pain . I have the type that leaves bumps on the skin that are sometimes painful . Very annoying

Soolantra here too. I had very sore, red skin for years and had tried everything.

Another thumbs up for Soolantra. Cleared mine in a month after years of problems.
