Is Olaplex worth the money?

After a dye at a new hairdressers, I’m considering giving this a go. She was raving about the products (despite not selling them!) to help my over straightened, over dyed hair stay in condition.

What do you use and do you rate it? Thanks!

Some people absolutely rave about it, some hate it.... it seemed to do nothing for my hair, Kerastase was much, much better.

The treatment they add to hair colour at the salon? Absolutely. Transforms my hair and keeps it very smooth and hydrates even though there’s a fuck tonne of bleach on there.

Home stuff? Not worth the money IME.

I didn't see any noticeable difference when I used it tbh. I've done everything from Aldi through to personalised shampoo, all seems the same to me! Currently using Aveda and that definitely isn't worth the price tag.

I think this thread might save me a lot of money!

My hair feels amazing after the treatment at the hairdresser but it sounds like the home stuff might not be as good.

The stuff the hairdresser adds to the dye is excellent and keeps my colour for much longer.

I bought the pre-shampoo and conditioner mask and that too is fabulous ~~if only I got more time to use it~~

The regular conditioner and shampoo were awful on my hair and made it really greasy.

I’m using the at home number 3 on my overly bleached, overly heat treated hair. I’ve used it twice and my hair is softer, but doesn’t seem to be repaired at all

I really rate Aveda Damage Remedy
