This bob has grown out alarmingly quickly and needs at least a trim next week. (Add about 4 cm. to length in photo). Any suggestions?

I love your hair! Any preferences? Keep it a bob or grow into a lob?

Chochito · 26/07/2020 13:37

Thanks so much.

smurftastic do you think it would look better grown out?

I think it depends what you're after. I really enjoyed having a bob last year, now it's grown out and I love being able to put it in a ponytail. Downside of it is I'm constantly wearing a ponytail Hmm... If you like to wear it down you can aim for a bit shorter length. I'd either keep it neck length or collarbone. I find it annoying when my hair flips when hitting my shoulders.

Thanks!

I definitely need it cut short at the back (or all) as it needs to be off my neck in the heat - above 40° at the moment where I live and still hot at night too.

Any suggestions?

I read french bobs are 'in', I wouldn't go for a graduated bob as it might look a bit dated. Pinterest is a good source www.pinterest.co.uk/search/pins/?q=french%20bob&rs=typed&term_meta[]=french%7Ctyped&term_meta[]=bob%7Ctyped

Chochito · 27/07/2020 16:31

Thanks, yes I like that look (similar to my previous cut). Will it be short enough to have no hair on the neck?

If you go above the jaw I imagine you would have hair off your neck- not something I tried as I have a wide face shape and it wouldn't suit me, so can't speak from experience. www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/358317714106983127/

Just had it trimmed for now (3cm off) as it is too hot to faff around, but really fancy something shorter next time.

Hair is a bit flat in the photo as dried naturally in 40° heat. 😂😂

Your hair looks like that dried naturally in 40 degree heat!? Back on my planet that's what mine looks like after a cut and blow dry.

I think a couple more inches off will look lovely. Also looks lovely now and before. Hair swap?

Chochito · 29/07/2020 15:38

If it looks wet it is half water, half sweat 😳

Thanks SummerHouse. What sort of style would look ok with a shorter length?

When you say style, do you mean like curly straight? (Sorry, that sounded so thick) 🤣

Bodgedboxdye · 29/07/2020 15:46

Curly/straight**

Chochito · 29/07/2020 18:10

Sorry, no, I meant like angled bob, blunt bob, pixie cut, layers, fringe... As in how to cut it. Sorry, was not clear.

My hair is naturally straight which is fine but I also like to wear it wavy.

Bodgedboxdye · 29/07/2020 18:33

I hoped you meant that. (:

I have a pixie undercut and I love it. Would you go for that?

What do you like?

What are you features like?

iklboo · 29/07/2020 18:35

I've just had this done (except mine is more grey!)
