I have long tick, coloured hair and my Remington straighteners have packed up.

I can't afford GHD's, and want to spend up to £40.
Any top buys?
Thank you

Maybe check out eBay for a second hand pair of ghd's? When my old pair broke I bought some on there for 30 pound. In my opinion nothing compares to them! X

I was going to suggest Remington...I think they're brilliant and you can get them on offer in boots all the time. They come with a 4 year guarantee and extended for a year if you register them online.

Yep, second hand GHDs. You can clean them up with rubbing alcohol to remove any residue but no other hair straighteners will compare in my opinion.

I bought Kipozi straighteners from Amazon, based on recommendations on here. They're brilliant and very reasonable. Would highly recommend.

I bought Remington straighteners after my GHDs gave up the ghost (after over 10 years). They're great!

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/07/2020 19:28

Kipozi wide plates here too. £30 or so on amazon.

I got my Remington ones from boots at Christmas reduced from £80 to £25. Usually if you shop around, they have offers on.

I got the John Lewis own brand ones recently for about £35 when my 10 year old GHDs packed up and they are fine.

I googled “best cheap hair-straighteners ”. As a result I got a pair of babyliss for £20. Just as good as GHD, delighted with them.
