So many hideous shoes around just now

There appears to be an absolute plethora of truly fucking hideous shoes to choose from at the moment. What's going on?

Perspex heels - no
Flared heels - no
Boxy square toes - no
6 inch needle heels - god no
Padded mules with kitten heel - Christ no.

I just want a nice pair of strappy sandals.

Ah I feel the same, I'm sure I seen somewhere the 'cake stand heel' wtf, I'm sure I'm not imagining it.

I think topshop are the worst offenders for offensive looking footwear

Actually I've just looked on topshop and some arent too bad. At the moment, during lockdown I was searching for sandals and I'm sure it was topshop where I'd seen some hideous designs, or it may have been zara.

Googled cake stand heels. There is literally nothing attractive about these mingers IMO.

I know this is about shoes but I can’t cope with the juxtaposition of the jean-leg shape and the clear plastic shoe in that photo 😐

I also agree about the clothes, I'm fed up wuith seeing the same see-through sleeves/puff sleeves/crop tops and crazy patterned dresses.
Only because 1) there hasnt even really been the opportunity (weather) to wear this type of stuff 2) weve been locked up for most of spring so no point in getting dressed.

I look forward to autumn/winter. Always nicer styles out then.
