TK Maxx - whats it now like??

Has anyone been back to TK Maxx since it re-opened, and if so, what is it now like? Its always been a great place to go for a browse through all the different departments and I don't particularly want to go back if you can't do that any more. Their website just says they've changed layouts to encourage social distancing, which isn't entirely helpful.

I was in one yesterday. Same as it ever was tbh, except no changing rooms open

Same as ever for browsing. They have moved the aisles to make them wider and have slightly less stock so that social distancing is easier.
I was chatting to a staff member they have three different face mask choices so feel happy and they careful police how many people are in the store. Feels safer than Tesco - which here is like a zoo.

Ooh, that's sounding encouraging. I've given up expecting changing rooms anywhere (and I've rarely wanted to queue for long enough to get into a TK Maxx one). But I do like a good browse, especially for homewares I didn't know I wanted.

I didn't notice any changes in store except for reminders to keep apart but there was a small queue to get in.

The one I went to seemed the same too. No changing rooms and I think they'd taken away the section with loose make up like pencils etc that people tend to finger. They only had boxed products and smaller bits were in those plastic shells that you can't open.

I love TK Maxx.

Less stock and if you try on sunglasses you have to put them into a crate to be disinfected before they go back on the rack. Also less of a scrum around the red sticker ‘clearance’ beauty products: just as much interest, but people stand back so that only one person at a time is scanning the shelf for bargains.

Very good re Covid. One door for entry, one for exit, someone on the door telling you when to come in, hand gel just inside. If they could do one thing better it would be to have hand gel at the exit end as well but I always carry my own. Plenty of clothes and food items which are what I mainly go in there for. Not that many shoes but there have always been phases like that. I did notice that all the make-up was in sealed clear boxes, which makes sense.

It's the same bit less of a range

I went to one a few of weeks ago and it had very little stock. Most of what they had looked like what was in the shop when it was closed for lockdown. It felt pointless being in there - I couldn’t find anything I even half liked. However, they may well have restocked properly by now.

We went the day they opened. Got 2 pairs of jeans for dd1 for £4.20. Can't fault that.
