I tend to lurk on here and not actively post but in the last few months I’ve bought - directly due to seeing it on here;

Loccitane Almond Shower Oil - I’m converted its amazing -

I’ve also bought the body cream now!

Those Korean scrubbing mitt things- they’re quite good

Neilson Chiropody sponges - amazing

Pair of Next Jersey joggers - they went straight back they were awful on me

I’m sure there is other stuff I have seen on here and decided i have to have it...what has S&B made you buy?

Successes:
Biore Watery Essence
Hourglass ambient face powder stuff
Olay touch of sunshine moisturiser
Newtons foot sponge
Only wearing clothes in my seasonal colours (more or less)
Heated hairbush thing from B&M - cheap and great
Clinique lash power (a tubing mascara recommendation)

Didnt work for me:
Hush
BBH
Spiral facial hair remover thing
Harems from Ebay
Next jersey joggers
Sweaty Betty Yoga pants
I spot a trouser theme! Could be my legs that are the issue Grin

crazymscurls · 26/07/2020 08:42

The Ordinary - I was using Elemis which didn't do anything for my skin except make it smell nice! Now I can buy my whole routine twice for the price of one face cream.

100 Stars Kimono, really disappointed with it glad I did not pay full price

PersonaNonGarter · 26/07/2020 11:25

Just remembered another -

OPI Nail Envy. There was so much love for that product on here for a while! It was the Becca Undereye of 2015...

Superdrug Vitamin E range of products.

goose1964 · 26/07/2020 22:52

Mint Velvet leggings and Korean Italy towels, love the first , can't see the hip over the cloths, it only means the skin comes off in the bath rather than when I'm drying.

mrschocolatte · 27/07/2020 05:39

Phillips Lumea (Just started using it, so too early to tell if it’s working)
Thought jumpsuit (best purchase ever. Lots of positive comments whenever I wear it.)
Me + Em Palazzo Pants (fantastic quality and so comfortable)
Olaplex hair care (It was ok but pricey)
Short wetsuit from Decathlon (bargain!)

Despite the huge love on here for Toast, I’ve not been tempted. And what happened to Hush? The quality of their clothes has been really poor recently. Have made a decision to not buy from them anymore.

Bluesheep8 · 27/07/2020 07:23

Avon Timeless perfume
White Converse pumps
Stila convertible colour blusher
Benefit Dandelion blusher
GAP dungarees but they look shit and are really uncomfortable.

Bluesheep8 · 27/07/2020 07:24

Aldi rose face oil

Cakestandkitchen · 27/07/2020 07:41

MaryLennoxsScowl · 27/07/2020 08:53

Oh god, so many things!
The Ordinary (some things great, some not, but haven’t bothered with the 90 million steps of a proper routine since before lockdown)
Korean cloths (love these)
Mooncup (value and convenience!)
Real soap instead of shower gel (never going back!)
StitchFix (meh)
Toast sale (mostly good)
La Roche Posay sunscreen (don’t like smell but at least I’m now wearing daily sunscreen instead of forgetting for months at a time)
Foot file (excellently vicious at its job)
Expensive tights (caught on nail second time I wore them and ripped)

MabelMoo23 · 27/07/2020 09:00

My 100 stars Kimono is actually arriving today, I didn’t hear about it on here, I saw Lisa Snowden wearing one on This Morning last week and loved it so we will see.

I’ve spent a bloody fortune on make up stuff / skincare just from being on Instagram / fb over lockdown

From watching Cher Webb (a make up artist) do her Sunday morning lives on IG I’ve bought...

Clinique buffing brush for foundation - oh my god this was a foundation brush I didn’t know I needed. I’m shit at applying foundation, this brush is fantastic and well worth the morning

Urban Decay eye primer - I have hooded eyes and struggle with eye make up going all over my lids, primer has made a huge difference. I wouldn’t be without it now

Giorgio Armani luminous silk concealer - I already use the foundation but really really impressed with the concealer, I’m really conscious of my dark circles and redness around my nose and it’s superb. First one I’ve found that doesn’t drag. Another definite buy

From watching Sali Hughes I’ve bought the new Chanel gel bronzer. It’s really nice, and I’m enjoying using it, but would I buy it again? Hmm not sure. Likewise the new MAC cream blushes, lovely colour but I’m not sure I’m the best at applying

I’ve also joined Beauty Pie, and just paid my 3rd month’s subscription, think I’m going to downgrade to £5 a month - I don’t love it, but there’s a couple of things I quite like (Japanfusion cleanser and Plantastic cleansing balm)

I’m also waiting to finish my Medik8 retinol (discovered via Caroline Hirons FB page) so I can go on to Dermatica

Christ I am a right sheep!!!! Had nothing I’ve hated though, just a couple of things that are “meh” and whilst I’d finish them off, I wouldn’t buy again.

ZaZathecat · 27/07/2020 09:29

Biore watery essence sunscreen for the face. Brilliant stuff, the only sunscreen I've tried that feels like it's not there and works.

MulberryPeony · 27/07/2020 10:32

Now someone mentioned Superdrug that has jogged my memory. I’ve bought their own brand shower gels and foot masks. At the other end of the scale Jo Malone when they did their super spin the wheel offers.

CaveMum · 27/07/2020 12:24

I desperately needed some new jeans as I’ve lost some weight and my old reliable pairs were hanging off me. So on the advice of MN I bought two pairs of “Jamie” skinny jeans from Topshop which arrived today and I’m in love 😍
